Yellow Class Forest School
On Thursday afternoon Yellow class ventured out into the cold and took part in Forest school. The children showed great interest in different types of birds that we can find in the UK and even sat quietly for around 3 minutes to carry out bird watching. They then worked together in groups to build a nest for a certain type of bird. They were given instructions for where the birds may have their nests and what materials they may use. After that, they threaded hoops onto string to create bird feeders to encourage the birds to come into the forest school area.
