As part of British Science Week, our focus was on ‘Connections’ – looking at the world around them and observing how everything is interconnected. The children took part in some activities during the day and had lots of fun! In addition, we welcomed McLaren who spoke to the children about the process of building a supercar – the elements of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) that go into building one – and then some were lucky enough to sit in a McLaren 720S and hear the engine roar! I was very impressed by the children’s questions and engagement – and hope to arrange similar opportunities for the children in future.
