This week year 5 enjoyed their 2 night stay at High Ashurst, an outdoor education centre , located in near Box Hill. They participated in a variety of activities, ranging from the exhilaration of High Ropes (and the infamous leap of faith) to den building and teamwork games.  Blessed with warm, dry weather many of the year 5's experienced their first nights under canvas and the learning that results from sharing time with their friends, in the outdoors.  Many of the children surprised themselves and rose the many challenges they were faced with, experiencing the satisfaction of climbing to the top of the climbing wall, or developing their leadership skills.
