On Thursday, our Year 6 boys' football team competed in a football tournament at Royal Holloway. We were astounded by their efforts on the pitch to work together as a team to find the back of the net. Their resilience and perseverance paid off with a strong performance in the group stage, leaving them top of their group. As they progressed into the quarter finals, they faced a very capable team but showed determination and enthusiasm throughout. This game was very close and continued into extra time but unfortunately, despite all their efforts, we conceded and were knocked out. The boys continued to show great sportsmanship and were fantastic ambassadors for Cardinal Newman. Well Done!
