The children in Ruby class celebrated their Mission Week by reflecting on the life of St Francis of Assisi. The children extended their love to the birds, who during the winter months at times find it hard to find food, by making bird feeders to place in their gardens. Inspired by Giotto’s paintings the children illustrated St Francis and his love for animals, applying their artistic skills to visually portray his message of love, peace and kindness.
