All Souls Mass

Thank you to Fr Ruslan and all the parents who came to celebrate Mass with us on Monday. It was a wonderful service of Remembrance.

International Food Afternoon

On 22nd November 2024, the feast of Christ the King, we will again recognise our wonderful international school community. Our theme this year is “One family, one community”. As all family and community celebrations seem to include food, we would like to celebrate our different cultures and countries by encouraging families to prepare and share food from their own countries. This has been an extremely successful event for the last two years. Children love showcasing their traditional family foods and tasting and experiencing food from other countries. We are so grateful to the families who provided food from all around the world last year, Europe, South America, UK, Asia and the Caribbean and also to the many families who came to taste the foods.

So if you would like to prepare a plate, or to get together with some friends and family to prepare a table of food from a country for this year’s celebration, please let Ms. Hunt know as soon as possible.

Bag 2 School Collection

Please bring any donations for the Bag 2 School collection to the school office by 9am on Wednesday 20th November. Please be aware that we will be unable to accept donations on any other day aside from this. 

Parking

Please can we once again remind you to be mindful of your parking when collecting and dropping your children to school. We have had a complaint from a resident on Kenilworth Drive that her driveway has been blocked by parents and she was unable to leave her house when she wanted to. 

Parking is available in the Coronation Rec car park which is just a short walk away from school. Alternatively, you can park for free at Hersham station car park on Walton Park with a permit which you can obtain by emailing the school office your car registration plate.

Please also note that parents dropping their children off for Breakfast Club or any morning clubs are not allowed to park in the school car park.

National Online Safety: Wake Up Wednesday Guides for Parents 

We would like to make you aware of our ‘online safety’ advice, guidance and support page called ‘Wake Up Wednesday - what parents / carers need to know’.

Wake Up Wednesday, created by The National College, aims to inform parents and carers on topics such as social media platforms, gaming, and IPad security. They include top tips, important reminders and reality checks on a wide range of online safety topics. They are a great resource to keep up to date with the issues children may encounter. 

We will post relevant articles of interest that should help you and your child here on our website.
